Harare – Police in Zimbabwe have re-arrested prominent journalist, Hopewell Chin’ono, for breaching his bail conditions, reportedly using Twitter.
It is alleged that Chin’ono posted tweets criticising the government.
He was released from a maximum security prison in September, following his arrest in July on charges that he helped to foment anti-government protests.
In May, Chin’ono uncovered corruption in government procurement of coronavirus supplies that led to the dismissal of the health minister
