ANC to give update on controversial PPE tender

South Africa

Johannesburg – The ANC is expected to report back on the probe into the R125-million PPE tender scandal.

Senior officials have been linked to the tender including the President’s Spokesperson Khusela Diko, and Gauteng Health MEC Bandile Masuku.

There’s been growing calls for them to step aside.

This follows revelations that the company belonging to Diko’s husband, was awarded a multi-million rand PPE contract by the Gauteng government.

Masuku and Diko have met with the provincial secretary, Jacob Khawe.
