Durban – Police Minister Bheki Cele is visiting the family of slain Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) councillor candidate, Michael Thulani Shangase.
The minister will also visit areas affected by political violence.
Shangase was shot dead on Sunday, in the KwaZulu Natal Midlands, on his return from a party meeting.
Police are investigating the motive for the killing.
Cele is expecting a full report from the Task Team investigating politically-related cases.
