Johannesburg – Former Finance Minister Des van Rooyen is expected to testify at the state capture inquiry on Tuesday.
Van Rooyen will also cross-examine former National Treasury Director-General Lungisa Fuzile.
The commission is expected to hear evidence relating to the former minister’s appointment in December 2015.
Fuzile gave evidence at the inquiry about the impact his appointment had on the Rand and Treasury.
Van Rooyen’s appointment was short-lived.
Former president Jacob Zuma removed van Rooyen after only a few days following criticism.
