Johannesburg – Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Nkosazane Dlamini-Zuma says the Covid-19 pandemic has reached a stage where it can be managed without the Disaster Management Act.
However, for the next 30 days wearing of masks is mandatory indoors.

Earlier government gave an update on Covid-19 measures in place.
Dlamini-Zuma said: “We should still continue wearing masks for at least another 30 days indoors.”

“Outdoors it’s not needed. We still need to limit number of people gatherings. We continue with the 1,000 indoors and 2,000 outdoors… vaccine certificate or a test that is not older than 72 hours old is required.”
