Johannesburg – Family and colleagues of three miners buried underground at Lily Mine in Barberton, Mpumalanga have vowed to continue camping outside the mine.

Tuesday marked 1,000 days since relatives, colleagues and community members decided to wait until the bodies were retrieved.
It was on February 5th, 2016 when a container that Pretty Nkambule, Yvonne Mnisi and Solomon Nyirenda were working in collapsed and sank at the mine.

The families of the three miners say this unresolved tragedy continues to take its toll on them, however, they have vowed not to give up.
