Supporters of Kaizer Chiefs should feel this is what they expect to hear, not just on Stuart Baxter, but for any head coach of the mighty Glamour Boys.
During a chat in the past week, the former Kaizer Chiefs striker directly revealed coach Baxter’s mandate as Amakhosi coach.
“His mandate of course, definitely is to do well and to win every piece of silverware that’s on offer,” said Motaung Jnr.

“It goes to all the players and all the assistant staff who are there, the backroom staff, all of us.
“We all know and we can’t shy away from the fact, that’s why we’re here. We know the position we are in now, we’ve seen the cups we couldn’t win this season and we understand that.”

The former Bundesliga striker added to say that the club has had to struggle to lift a title last season and in the current term due to a heavy reliance on young players.
“Of course we’re not happy about not winning those trophies,” he added.
“From our side, we’ve seen how important our young players have been, carrying us through an immense CAF Champions League last season.
“It’s not secret for everyone to see we have to build around a core of young and exciting players for the future,” added the Chiefs director.
