Johannesburg – A video of a seemingly drunk police officer is doing the rounds on social media.
The constable is stationed at Wolmaransstad, in North West.
Members of the public filmed him, in uniform, struggling to stand steady and inspect a damaged vehicle.
The constable is expected to appear in the Wolmaransstad Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
He is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, negligent driving and the use of a state vehicle without permission.
